Pratibha Shah is one of the leading Ayurveda experts in the New England region of the United States of America. Her pioneering initiatives in the field of Ayurveda in the US, have brought her to attention at the White House, the Department of Health and Human Services, as well as the Consulate General of India, NYC. She is a prolific speaker and educator in the community. She has also been an invited speaker in many local and International conferences, and has given Keynote address in several of them. She has authored several papers. She is an editor with the Ayurveda Journal on Health and Associate Editor with the Ancient Science journal. She is a senior faculty with the Kerala Ayurveda Academy. With more than 25 years of practice, she is one of the few holistic practitioners leading the effort of true integration, focused on client-centric wholesome care. Before moving to US in 2004, she was working as Chief Medical Officer with the Central Government of India, in the ministry of Indian System of Medicine (AYUSH).

She is the Founder and Director of the Council for Ayurveda Research, and the Wholistic Health Alliance. She also runs an informative blog on Facebook called My Ayurved, which is followed in more than 50 countries across the globe.

She currently works as an Ayurveda consultant at Well Life Medical, an integrative medicine practice in Peabody, MA, USA.
