Ayurvedic Wellness Practitioner
Revathi studied Electronics Engineering and then Mass Communications, which led her to work as a media research professional in New York. Yet, the latent and hidden thread of Ayurveda and Yoga that she grew up with in India never hid too far beneath the surface. It was rekindled by her practice of meditation, which led her to practice and eventually teach Yoga. It was then a natural and rapid progression to Ayurveda. She then transitioned over from her media career to a full time involvement in Ayurveda, Yoga and meditation.
She is a certified Ayurvedic Wellness Practitioner from Kerala Ayurveda, and is also a certified Marma Chikitsa practitioner and Yoga (Sri Sri Yoga) teacher. She has been teaching stress relief and well-being management techniques for many years in the east coast and now in the Bay Area.
Revathi has trained in Carnatic (South Indian classical) music and the Indian classical dance form of Bharatanatyam, and occasionally performs in the Bay Area. She enjoys cooking, meditates daily, and loves to hike in the outdoors.
