Ayurveda is recognized by WHO
In 2023, the World Health Organization (WHO) formed a team to investigate traditional medicines and Ayurveda is one of the focuses. During the WHO Traditional Medicine Summit on August 22, 2023, Ayurveda was highlighted. Ayurveda is a licensed healthcare system in India where it has been continuously practiced for thousands of years. Western communities are now discovering that Ayurveda provides the solutions that we need to reverse the global rise in chronic illness, as well as live more sustainably on our planet.
What to expect in our level I training
The Ayurvedic Health Counselor (AHC) program is our first level, 1-year training. Students from all backgrounds are welcome to join; no Ayurvedic knowledge is required.
The AHC program is perfect for:
- Enthusiasts of the Vedic sciences who wish to establish a solid foundation in Ayurveda from an authentic lineage
- Allopathic and Alternative Health practitioners who wish to enhance their practice – Ayurveda complements all health modalities
- Professionals from all industries seeking holistic solutions to improve their personal health and inspire career upgrades
The AHC program includes
- Online training with a flexible schedule
- Optional in-person training
- Instruction from highly experienced Ayurvedic doctors (Vaidyas – BAMS) from India
- Elearning portal for accessing course curriculum and managing assignments
- Student mentor support throughout the program
- Certificate of completion
