Product Advisor (Full Time)

The Product Advisor is a new role designed to develop the product business sector of Kerala Ayurveda USA . Their core responsibility is to foster, manage and maintain favorable relationships with new and existing customers to our product line, as well as support the internal development of the product business. The ideal candidate will possess an affinity for relationship building, have sales experience and knowledge of the herbal product marketplace, preferably the Ayurvedic industry.

  • Local to Milpitas, CA and able to work in our office is preferred.
  • Available occasional evenings and weekends for meetings and events.
  • Ability to travel to multiple customer locations throughout the United States and Canada.


  • Minimum 3 years of successful business and sales experience, preferably in the herbal/Ayurvedic product industries.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the herbal/Ayurvedic industry and has the ability to manage significant business opportunities to grow the company’s position as a leader in the field.
  • College degree preferred.

  • Proficient with G Suite (Gmail, Google Calendar, Slides, Docs, Sheets), admin software and CRM.
  • Proficient with lead software and CRM database updating.


  • Effectively position the company as the premier source for Ayurvedic products in the U.S. and Canada by serving clients as their most valued resource for education, effectiveness, and delivery of goods.
  • Will be instrumental in building a new market segment within our Ayurvedic portfolio.
  • Foster favorable relationships with new and existing clients in order to increase revenue.
  • Develop and manage relationships with top management of selective major customers. Interface with primary technical contacts in order to solicit new business and to participate actively in long-term projects.
  • Manage primary relationships with customers’ purchasing department. Ensure that organizational goods or services consistently meet client needs. Provide sales quotations, sustain and renew client contracts.
  • Troubleshoot customer complaints, develop strategies and policies to effectively resolve them.
  • Develop and execute programs that will be widely respected as well as accepted by the customer base that will result in the acquisition, development, and retention of business to enhance company brand equity, recognition, and value.
  • Analyze, evaluate and compare company product lines with those in competitive organizations. Recommend strategies to optimize sales and minimize the effect of competition.
  • Analyze the customer and/or business segment in order to spot trends, resolve problems and to correct any procedural errors being made.
  • Budget, plan and participate in industry trade shows and conferences.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of market trends and consumer demand.
  • Lead the business to develop strong market-based innovation and commercial pipeline of growth.
