Anatomy and Physiology

Kerala Ayurveda Academy aligns our program requirements with the National Ayurvedic Medical Association (NAMA), the largest organization representing the Ayurvedic industry in the United States. It is important for Ayurvedic students of professional programs to have adequate knowledge of Anatomy and Physiology.

The equivalent of 4 college level Anatomy and Physiology credits are required as a corequisite for the following program:

Level I Ayurvedic Health Counselor (AHC)

The equivalent of 6 college level Anatomy and Physiology credits are required as a corequisite for the following programs:

Level II Ayurvedic Practitioner (AP)

Level III Ayurvedic Doctor (AD)

How to satisfy this requirement

Students may complete any Anatomy & Physiology program which meets the above requirements as a corequisite. The corequisite can be taken simultaneously with a KAA training program, so long as it is completed for certification. Proof of course completion is required for graduation from a KAA training program (e.g. a transcript).
To assist students in finding an A&P program which fulfills these requirements, we offer the following training options through our partner, Cengage/ed2go.
