Kerala Ayurveda Academy aligns our program requirements with the National Ayurvedic Medical Association (NAMA), the largest organization representing the Ayurvedic industry in the United States. It is important for Ayurvedic students of professional programs to have adequate knowledge of Anatomy and Physiology. The equivalent of 6 college level Anatomy and Physiology credits are required as a corequisite for Kerala Ayurveda Academy’s level I Ayurvedic Wellness Counselor (AWC), level II Ayurvedic Wellness Practitioner (AWP) and level III Ayurvedic Doctor (AD) certification programs. Students are required to provide proof of A&P course completion to receive these program certifications.
The equivalent of 6 college level Anatomy & Physiology credits is a corequisite for the following programs:
- Level I Ayurvedic Wellness Counselor (AWC)
- Level II Ayurvedic Wellness Practitioner (AWP)
- Level III Ayurvedic Doctor (AD) programs.
How to satisfy this requirement
The corequisite can be taken simultaneously with one of these KAA programs, so long as it is completed for certification. KAA offers the following options for you to comply with the A&P requirement.
