Wellness Center Administrator

Illeana contributes to the well-being of our guests as both Administrator and Practitioner. She is a committed agent of transformation and excellence in client sessions and in her coordination of the larger function and flow of the Wellness Center.

Her professional journey began in Bucharest, Romania and Vienna, Austria, where she earned her Master of Science degrees in Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, followed by a decade-long career.

In 1995, Illeana shifted her career focus from the technical to the healing sciences. She studied Traditional Chinese Medicine, Shiatsu, massage therapy, esthetics and numerous continued educational courses before studying Ayurveda in 2003 with the late Vaidya Rama Kant Mishra. She earned her level I AWC degree at the Ayurveda House College and her level II AWP degree at California College of Ayurveda. After an internship at the Chakrapani Clinic in Jaipur, India under guidance of Vaidya Rajesh Kotecha, Illeana joined the Kerala Family as a student in 2015 and completed the AWP, India Immersion and Clinical Internship programs.

In 2019 she joined the Wellness Team at Kerala Ayurveda, offering Ayurvedic wellness services and supervising the functions of the clinic. Drawing upon her rich and diverse training background, she combines both Eastern and Western practices with a compassionate and astute level of care. In addition to Ayurvedic clinical assessment and execution, she is proficient in Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Myofascial release, Thai, Shiatsu, Deep Tissue, Swedish, Reiki, Aromatherapy, Aura Soma, Numerology, Cupping, Pregnancy Massage, Baby Massage and bodywork for the elderly.
