Dr. Sisira K. Amarasinghe, Ph.D., possesses specialized expertise in the fields of Biomedical Engineering and Information Systems Engineering. His comprehensive academic and industrial background is especially prominent in the realm of Cardiac Rhythm Management, where he has contributed to the R&D of Defibrillators, Pacemakers, and sophisticated Remote Monitoring systems. Further, his expertise in software, systems, and enterprise architecture, combined with his outstanding R&D leadership, has been pivotal in advancing the highly sophisticated software platforms essential for Robotic Surgeries, especially those focused on Orthopedic Knee and Hip procedures.
Concurrent with his advancements in Biomedical Engineering, Dr. Amarasinghe has maintained a profound engagement with Vedic Astrology, a discipline he has assiduously explored for several decades.
The depth of his knowledge and dedication to Vedic astrology has garnered recognition from the American College of Vedic Astrology (ACVA). Dr. Amarasinghe proudly holds the Jyotisha Ratna and Jyotisha Prabhakara certifications from ACVA, emblematic of his caliber in the discipline. ACVA further celebrated his contributions in November 2021 by bestowing upon him the esteemed title of Jyotish Navaratna, underscoring his significant influence within the world of Vedic Astrology. He is a recognized authority in Vedic Astrology and Medical Astrology consultations, offering adept Vedic Counseling and Life Coaching services. He is also credentialed with the Ayurvedic Wellness Counsellor (AWC) and Ayurvedic Wellness Practitioner (AWP) certifications, conferred by Kerala Ayurveda Academy. Presently, he is in the process of pursuing his Ayurvedic Doctor’s certification.
