Subadra didn’t set out to become an Ayurvedic practitioner. With a PhD in toxicology, she had built a career in scientific research and later focused on raising her children. But everything changed when she rediscovered Ayurveda.
Panchakarma Technician Certification Student Story
What began as a curiosity quickly became a calling. Through her studies at Kerala Ayurveda Academy, Subadra began to reconnect with her roots—rediscovering the cultural, spiritual, and healing traditions she had grown up around but never formally studied.
She went on to complete multiple certifications, including Ayurvedic Health Counselor (AHC), Ayurvedic Practitioner (AP), and Ayurvedic Clinical Specialist (Formlerly AD). But it was the Panchakarma Technician Certification that gave her the hands-on tools to bring healing into her own home—and eventually, into the lives of others.
Panchakarma allowed her to integrate physical therapies with the deep wisdom she had already studied—completing the circle.

Panchakarma Technician Certification
Kerala Ayurveda Academy offers a 250 hour Panchakarma Technician Certification for Ayurvedic students and wellness professionals at all levels. Panchakarma is Ayurveda’s classical system of detoxification and rejuvenation, rooted in bodywork therapies that promote deep, lasting transformation.
